Angelo M. Rocha
"I've always had a love for movies and television ever since I was a little boy who grew up extremely impoverished in a little town in Southern Portugal called "Algarve." Eventually, my family migrated to the United States and thrived. We lived the American Dream.
I wanted to give something back to the country that served us well, so I joined the military right after high school. And after I left the military after serving 10 years, I pursued my passion - Screenwriting.
After a few notable successes early on, I saved some income and started SAA Capital, SAA Films, and Pictures after a few short years. I helped fund and invest in a multitude of projects, many of which people know today.
Sadly, though, near the end of 2019, some partners got greedy while I tried to maintain my kindness, and eventually, I had enough and sold SAA and all its subsidiaries.
I branched off alone with only one partner, with whom I started Hazard Films. But then Covid hit, and everything was thrown off the rails. We adjusted our company's direction and started doing consultations, script feedback, contests, and after a while, established people in the business started tossing up the idea of me becoming a talent manager, since that was technically what I was doing, but without the job title.
And that is where we are today.
I have created a Film and TV Talent Management Company that caters to aspiring, under-represented, and unseen folks, from many media types, who always seem to get passed up by lesser-talented people attached at the hip through nepotism.
I made a vow to positively impact Hollywood in a big way, and to do that, I need to work alongside talented individuals who feel the same way I do.
As Head of Talent/ Senior Talent Manager at Hazard Talent Management I promise to give it my all to pursue my Clients' success. I will work alongside them to perfect, hone in on, and master their craft. So one day, they will be a household name."
